I wonder if the texture inconsistency was due to streaming for the consoles? We’ve seen that in some games in past on the PS3/360 — a blurry wall here or there, or a low-res set of furniture or structure — presumably to avoid putting any higher LOD assets into memory and cut down on load times.

Anyway, I’m sure the modding community will replace all of the textures with HD assets soon. I need to check if they’ve added this game to Nexus Mods yet, because it seems as if the modding community is about to really go to town on Dragon’s Dogma.

A member in the Geforce forums has reported in his testing that turning down the Level of Detail setting to low provided the best performance increase, so you might want to try that.The long loading times has been discovered due to enabling V-sync, so turn that off in the game settings, and either limit the FPS or turn on adaptive V-sync in the Nvidia control panel. Yes I have used the P key to toggle the depth, only on the 'surface' depth does the map render correctly. Everything else goes in depth apart from the frame of the map and the map itself (the map icons go into depth but render doubled due to being on a flat surface).
