Each day only has time for one holiday, but you can customize the traditions to mash your favorite things together 🙂

— Emory (@SimGuruEmory) June 7, 2018

i heard that

— Emory (@SimGuruEmory) June 7, 2018

No. That is so untrue. You can only change it to 1, 2 and '4' week increments. 😉

— George Pigula (@SimGuruGeorge) June 9, 2018

That may be true. Follow what is on the ticket. The 11 am thing may just be stuff online.

— George Pigula (@SimGuruGeorge) June 9, 2018

No death by candy.

— George Pigula (@SimGuruGeorge) June 9, 2018

Holidays appear for all sims in the world across your entire save. You can run multiple saves with different custom holidays.

— George Pigula (@SimGuruGeorge) June 9, 2018

This. You create your own spooky day. We give you the tools. And in classic Sims design mantra, make no judgements when you combine trick or treating with streaking.

— George Pigula (@SimGuruGeorge) June 9, 2018

You have the Calendar, new gardening UI, weather forecast…and more. https://t.co/QLzwyZl7ju

— Grant Rodiek (@SimGuruGrant) June 10, 2018

I've heard there is a livestream that may have a very very very special guest. …. @SimGuruGrant !

It will be linked off of here https://t.co/Bq6e5GVidW@SimGuruKate may have a more direct link.

— George Pigula (@SimGuruGeorge) June 8, 2018

Just wait until I can get the imperial units EP green lit. I'm still facing some pushback though.

— George Pigula (@SimGuruGeorge) June 8, 2018

— George Pigula (@SimGuruGeorge) June 8, 2018

On that note, HR has a e-mail waiting for you.

— George Pigula (@SimGuruGeorge) June 8, 2018

I'll put it on my list for next week

— George Pigula (@SimGuruGeorge) June 9, 2018

Kids can come to your door trick or treating.

— George Pigula (@SimGuruGeorge) June 9, 2018

No

— Grant Rodiek (@SimGuruGrant) June 9, 2018

No

— Grant Rodiek (@SimGuruGrant) June 9, 2018

You can use any of the traditions to customize a holiday on any day of the calendar.

— George Pigula (@SimGuruGeorge) June 8, 2018

Yes

— Grant Rodiek (@SimGuruGrant) June 8, 2018

Looks like one of the paper bag lanterns.

— George Pigula (@SimGuruGeorge) June 8, 2018

Yes.

— George Pigula (@SimGuruGeorge) June 7, 2018

Always Sunday

— George Pigula (@SimGuruGeorge) June 7, 2018

Holidays are 1 day. But you can make the same one every day for a week if you want.

— George Pigula (@SimGuruGeorge) June 7, 2018

Standard build mode decorations are placed by you. Decorations on the house (The eaves, friezes, foundations, fences, etc) are placed via the decoration box. You select the decoration and your Sim interacts with the box and applies it.

— George Pigula (@SimGuruGeorge) June 7, 2018

This tradition is in all of my holidays.

— George Pigula (@SimGuruGeorge) June 7, 2018

Nope. Holidays stay in your world. You can create different ones per save.

— George Pigula (@SimGuruGeorge) June 7, 2018

There is. I'm planning a cool pic for later this week. I'll note it in that tweet.

— George Pigula (@SimGuruGeorge) June 7, 2018

@SimGuruPJ Knows the secrets.

— George Pigula (@SimGuruGeorge) June 7, 2018

Looks like a glass house to me. I mean, there are green things around it I guess.

— George Pigula (@SimGuruGeorge) June 7, 2018

@SimGuruRad confirms that this tree is currently in season and blooming.

— George Pigula (@SimGuruGeorge) June 7, 2018

Yep.

— George Pigula (@SimGuruGeorge) June 7, 2018

I did thank @SimGuruRad for naming that after me.
Sim-ula
Pig- ula. Eh eh!

She rolled her eyes at me.

— George Pigula (@SimGuruGeorge) June 7, 2018

Each day only has time for one holiday, but you can customize the traditions to mash your favorite things together 🙂

— Emory (@SimGuruEmory) June 7, 2018

I'll check tomorrow.

— George Pigula (@SimGuruGeorge) June 7, 2018

No. Holidays are worldwide (for your save). When you create one it is on the calendar for all the Sims there.

But… Not all Sims will care about all holiday traditions.

— George Pigula (@SimGuruGeorge) June 7, 2018

I think I hit my quota for tonight. Besides, it might need its own gif to really explain. Or maybe someone at EA play will get their hands on it.

— George Pigula (@SimGuruGeorge) June 7, 2018

Alright. How many Aussie/South American Simmers are happy that #TheSims4Seasons solves something that probably annoys you about Christmas in every game.

You can recreate Winterfest in Summer.

— George Pigula (@SimGuruGeorge) June 7, 2018

They will come. No more tonight. Maybe a icon or two.

— George Pigula (@SimGuruGeorge) June 7, 2018

But wasn't it fun?!

— George Pigula (@SimGuruGeorge) June 7, 2018

So everyone should take a peep at the Captain Morgan. @MightyPirateMel that is with an oh so appropriate twitter handle. She correctly guessed that 'Talk Like a Pirate Day' may just pop up on your Sim's calendar.

— George Pigula (@SimGuruGeorge) June 7, 2018

Yarrrrrr be the one who deciphered the clues!

— George Pigula (@SimGuruGeorge) June 7, 2018

@SimGuruNinja just stopped me in the parking lot to call me a troll.

— George Pigula (@SimGuruGeorge) June 7, 2018

And I'm off on a drive. I'll check in later to see which of you figured it out.

— George Pigula (@SimGuruGeorge) June 7, 2018

Clues to lead you to a cool surprise holiday.

Clue #1: Sapphire
Clue #2: Johnny Unitas

Put them together and you will learn what this surprise holiday is.

Figure it out yet? ?

— George Pigula (@SimGuruGeorge) June 7, 2018

They will repeat until you remove them.

The software is a must-have content for all work related to our daily schedule, may it be a roll call, maintaining data, presentations and so on. Download ms office 2013 full crack online. Microsoft has attempted to make computer work visualized with the addition of graphics to each tool. The product is an updated version of Microsoft Office 2010 with lots of new features.

— George Pigula (@SimGuruGeorge) June 6, 2018

The calendar will alert you the day before a holiday. If you want to see longer than that you have to open it up.

Surprise holidays sneak up on you though. They sometimes won't appear until a few days before they occur.

— George Pigula (@SimGuruGeorge) June 6, 2018

No igloos.

— George Pigula (@SimGuruGeorge) June 6, 2018

Did you ever see that scene in where the kid gets his tongue stuck on a pole because its so cold outside?

No Igloo woohoo.

— George Pigula (@SimGuruGeorge) June 6, 2018

That is true. Its been so neglected.

— George Pigula (@SimGuruGeorge) June 6, 2018

Like the night before winterfest. You must play Sims who like to sneak presents.

— George Pigula (@SimGuruGeorge) June 6, 2018

You can schedule any social event, but won't be able to reschedule when another Sim invites you out.

— Emory (@SimGuruEmory) June 6, 2018

Yep! Thought be careful how many / how closely you put them. I may or may not have overheated a few Sims doing this exact thing

— Emory (@SimGuruEmory) June 6, 2018

If it was otherwise unclear, yes windows will get frosty in cold weather.

— Emory (@SimGuruEmory) June 6, 2018

You could have one every day if you wanted, but then it begs the question…if every day is a holiday, is any day a holiday?

— Emory (@SimGuruEmory) June 6, 2018

With some creative use of the custom holiday I'm pretty sure you could do this. Christmas in July! ☀️?

— Emory (@SimGuruEmory) June 6, 2018

So we actually looked pretty deeply into this, and it turns out the way those Get Together invites were made, we'd basically have to redo them entirely. After a lot of back-and-forth, I decided multiple days of engineering time would be better spent elsewhere. Sorry! 🙁

— Emory (@SimGuruEmory) June 6, 2018

I think it is time to start sharing some of these cool Holiday traditions coming in #TS4Seasons

What do you think? Tomorrow maybe?

— George Pigula (@SimGuruGeorge) June 6, 2018

It's not often that I get to flex my art chops at work, but I made a four seasonal plumbobs for ya'll to wear. Check them out! They're tailor-made to be sew cute. ? https://t.co/2xB8BHZsfX

— Emory (@SimGuruEmory) June 5, 2018

Bonfires, campfires, and other objects can keep your Sim warm when it's cold out. As the kids say these days–it's lit. ??

— Emory (@SimGuruEmory) June 5, 2018

CC Clothing should work with the new hot / cold outfit systems ?It would be sew sad if they didn't.

— Emory (@SimGuruEmory) June 5, 2018

Yep! Calendars are shared within the same household. It'd be pretty week if your family couldn't share schedules! ?️

— Emory (@SimGuruEmory) June 5, 2018

It's 3D. We'd call it 4D but we haven't figured out how to emit smell from your computers yet.

— Emory (@SimGuruEmory) June 5, 2018

Worlds all will have the same seasons, but they behave differently. For example, Oasis Springs will have winter at the same time as Willow Creek, but there won't be heavy snowfall in the desert world.

— Emory (@SimGuruEmory) June 5, 2018

Each neighborhood in the world will roughly follow the same forecast for that day, but if it's raining in one and you travel to another, it might just be really cloudy, or it might be pouring. Different worlds have different forecasts, but it's possible to for 2 to have the same.

— Emory (@SimGuruEmory) June 4, 2018

There's an umbrella stand in build mode that your Sims can fetch umbrellas from. NPCs that appear while it's raining might already have that ☂️covered ☂️ with their own umbrellas.

— Emory (@SimGuruEmory) June 4, 2018

Yes, that is exactly what you'll be able to use it for ?️

— Emory (@SimGuruEmory) June 4, 2018

For the storytellers who play with auto-aging off, a fun way to use the Calendar is to create a custom holiday and name it <Simname>'s Birthday with traditions that suit that Sim! You'll still have to fit in an actual Birthday event somewhere to age them up manually though.

— Emory (@SimGuruEmory) June 4, 2018

Sim birthdays will appear on the calendar when they're about to age up. You're free to schedule them a birthday party beforehand to age them up on your terms, but the Calendar basically gives you advance warning on when the auto-aging will happen.

— Emory (@SimGuruEmory) June 4, 2018

Both TS3 and TS4 use proprietary engines built in-house. Unity wasn't really ubiquitous until a few years after TS3's release. Engine choice is an interesting convo that we could spend weeks talk about, but in the end it's a combination of capabilities, customization, and timing.

— Emory (@SimGuruEmory) June 4, 2018

Certain plant species will go dormant in different seasons (like winter). During that time it's probably better to leaf them alone ?

— Emory (@SimGuruEmory) June 4, 2018

Check out the new Seasons blog! The Calendar is probably the feature I'm most excited about in this pack (outside of them seasons themselves of course). Schedule some time on yours and take a read 🙂 https://t.co/HFFHWCZ4Ic
