Alright, everything seems fine here. Now, the tricky question.:PHow did you install it?Yeah, I can see the path of your file at the top. My question is: is it alone there? Does 'packed' exist? If the answer is 'yes', then there's nothing wrong.:PLet me explain.

Devs changed how the game reads loose files, which is how old mods worked.Previously:Game reads loose files. Any missing file is taken from the packed files. Now:Game read packed files. Any missing file is taken from the loose files. If the loose version doesn't exist, crash.Which leads to 'how to install an old fashioned mod nowadays'!1) Use the extractor.2) Put your modded in resources (overwriting original extracted ones).3) Rename 'packed' to anything, to make sure the game can't find it and reads the loose files. The Cheating of Isaac - Afterbirth. Achievements this mod cant do for you. Files (x86)/Steam/SteamApps/common/The Binding of Isaac Rebirth/resources/ 4. There's a big drawback to using mods though — enabling a mod will turn-off achievements and unlocks in-game. All your progress won't mean.

As someone who plays this game with achievement/item unlocks as goals for each run i find this DLC game breaking. Why bother adding achievements if the main feature of this DLC (mod support) disables them. Because if someone gets a mod that makes you unkillable, then they can get all achievements easy without having to work for them. That's the thing, the devs care about the direction their game goes in (at least the official part of the game). Isaac is meant to be hard and reward actual effort.

Sure, you can run cheat engine (a third party program) and get every item in the game that way, and that's totally fine, but the devs aren't going to add official support for a tool like that, because that sort of goes against the entire premise and is not the point of adding mods, therefore a system that rewards such actions isn't going to be implemented. Cabin fever the long dark. Fairly straightforward really. Originally posted by:The biggest reason the modding tools were introduced in AB+ is so that players can make new items/rooms/etc etc and if they're any good, the Devs can put them in the game 'officially'.Besides that, the mods are for fun, not to cheese the game. Not talking about cheeseing the game.yes there are mods that give triple items per treasure rooms.and those should disable achevements, but reskins to some enemies.added variety in appearence.and even item discription.those should not disable steam achevements/unlocks.those do not cheese the game.
